We are excited to announce a new event dedicated to foraging. An activity that allows you to discover and gather wild food directly from nature. During this immersive experience, you will explore herbs, fruits, mushrooms, and flowers, discovering natural ingredients often used in cooking.

Accompanied by Milo Bissegger, gastronome, botanist and nature guide (learn more at www.milobissegger.ch), we will walk along mountain trails and learn to identify edible wild plants. After the walk, we will head to Bellavista for a special lunch featuring creative recipes made with wild herbs.

Day program

• 09:35 Train Capolago – Summit
• 10:15 Arrival at the summit and walk down toward Bellavista with explanations about the plants
• 12:30 Arrival in Bellavista followed by a small aperitif based on wild herbs  🥂
• 12:45 / 13:00 Lunch featuring some creative recipes 🍝🍰
• Return to Capolago at your own convenience

Accessibility

We inform you that the event takes place at the Buffet Bellavista, located at the Bellavista intermediate station (1200 m). The facility is also accessible to people with disabilities who use a wheelchair. Access is exclusively guaranteed by arriving by car at Bellavista, not via the cogwheel train. To ensure the service, it is necessary to communicate this requirement at least 48 hours in advance and/or indicate it in the notes when purchasing the ticket for the event. Otherwise, the service may not be guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding.
