We do everything we can to protect the landscape, the environment, and the woods: that's why our commitment is now being recognised.
Swisstainable is the sustainable tourism certification in Switzerland and is determined by analysing various aspects of the supply chain: mobility, nature, water, air, food, and waste. The Ferrovia Monte Generoso already obtained the second Swisstainable level out of three from Switzerland Tourism in 2021. We are now aiming to become a leading third-level company. Each of our activities will then be audited by an external certifier: TourCert, Travel for Tomorrow, a group of experts in tourism, science, the environment, development, and politics. We’re becoming greener!
