Our chef de cuisine with a flair for italianità is a creative cook who has been awarded a Michelin star. Italian-born Luca Bassan worked in the canton of Ticino since 2001. Luc Bassan is an expert at bringing out the original flavour of his light and healthy dishes. His cuisine is exquisite, full of pizzazz and always adhering to high quality standards. Many of the seasonal products used are from the region. Luc Bassan’s unmistakable trademark is his distinctive and imaginative garnishing of each and every dish.
Italian-Swiss sommelier Paolo Basso is the winner of the 2013 World’s Best Sommelier and the 2010 Best Sommelier of Europe awards. His interest and passion for fine wines was sparked at hotel management school, which led to the decision to devote his career to wine. Paolo Basso has selected a range of exquisite Merlot wines from the canton of Ticino for us, as well as other fine wines, also chiefly from Switzerland. We will gladly help you choose the right wine to complement your dish.
