On Saturday 1st April, the Ferrovia Monte Generoso is committed to the environment and nature and, together with a group of volunteers from the Summit Foundation in Vevey, is taking concrete action by cleaning the paths and green areas around the Fiore di pietra, one of the most panoramic points in the whole of Ticino.
Hikers and visitors to Monte Generoso who wish to participate are invited to roll up their sleeves and wear gloves!
We look forward to meeting you in large numbers, because TOGETHER is better!

09:00 Meeting at Capolago station
09:25 Welcome, departure with the cogwheel train to the summit of Monte Generoso
10:05 Arrival at the summit
10:15 Waste collection along paths and green areas
12:30 Conclusion and waste counting
13:00 Lunch offered by the Ferrovia Monte Generoso at the Self-Service Restaurant for each participant (drink + dish of the day + coffee)
For organisational reasons, please register for the event by Friday 31st March 2023 using the registration form.
In case of bad weather it will take place on 02.04.2023.
