Facilities offered to GIA-MG Members

1. Use (private, individual or with other persons) of the Monte Generoso Astronomical Observatory (subject to successful completion of the training course).
2. Reduced return fares of only CHF 19.50 on the cogwheel railway to and from Vetta on evenings on which observation sessions are organised by the GIA-MG (see schedule).
3. The opportunity to participate in a special evening trip on the cogwheel train. Departure and return times as agreed.
   Overall price CHF 600.00.
4. A special railway trip and telescopic observation to tie in with the GIA-MG annual Members’ Assembly, free of charge.
   

Other facilities shall be announced from time to time in accordance with our schedule of activities.

The facilities are exclusively reserved for Members. All Members must present their membership card for the current year. Membership of the GIA-MG may be obtained at the Monte Generoso station by payment of the relevant membership fee.
