Board of Directors and Members’ Assembly

The activities of the Monte Generoso Insubrica Astronomy Group (GIA-MG) are coordinated by a Board of Directors elected during the annual Members’ Assembly. The Board of Directors is currently comprised of the Director of the Monte Generoso railway company, Ferrovia Monte Generoso S.A., and four other Members. The Board of Directors organises observation evenings and provides the assistance of experts during telescopic observations.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the instruments and the maintenance of the equipment. It provides assistance to student groups and other associations who come to Vetta to observe the sun and the skies.
The Board of Directors elected by the Members’ Assembly on 16 June 2007 is as follows:
